I don't think unique is the word to describe A Lot Like Villain's self titled EP. I can guarantee you've never heard anything like it before. Sounding ska at times, 90's alt rock at others ("Debridment" would feel at home on an Incubus record), add in rap and metalcore moments and A Lot Like Villains spans nearly every genre we cover. With so much going on, it'd be easy for this EP to turn into a mess like no other - but it doesn't. ALLV have somehow created this beautiful, wonderful, diverse masterpiece and I still have no clue how they've done it. Picking a "hit" from this EP was nearly impossible, and the fact that this is just the beginning of their career is exciting. I'm not sure what's to come next of A Lot Like Villains, but I am sure it's going to be incredible.
